Our counsellors are friendly, experienced in different therapeutic methods, and funny - so we hope you weren't expecting serious glasses and brown elbow patches on our jackets!

  • You gotta feel it to heal it

    It's not fun to feel negative emotions, but you gotta feel it to heal it - this doesn't mean going to the dark and scary, it simply means that together we can explore feelings in a safe way and move past them gently so you can grow and feel strong.

  • Progress not perfection

    We are all about progress, not perfection! You can leave all unrealistic expectations at the door, and show up as yourself and where you're at right now. It's okay if you're not feeling your best, we're not looking for you to impress us!

  • Notice the difference

    No one can guarantee you won't face another crisis or stressful situation, but we are confident that over time, you will learn strategies and tools that you can access when life throws you a curveball. You will be able to notice the difference between handling stressful events before and after therapy and we hope you will be proud of yourself for feeling more equipped than before.
